Our Activities
- We operate an Advice Line, which is supported by
a number of members who have recently adopted, and who are willing
to talk to prospective adoptees.
- We organise both national and regional events, where
families can meet to share experiences and get to know each other.
More formally, we run seminars on post-adoption issues, which are
also relevant to pre-adopters.
- AFAA produces a number of
publications, the first of which -
"Inter-Country Adoption" - concentrates on the process of the adoption.

- We produce a regular newsletter for members.
- We are active in supporting UK Government departments,
Social Services and Voluntary Agencies in terms of ICA.
