Our Activities

We operate an Advice Line, which is supported by
a number of members who have recently adopted, and who are willing
to talk to prospective adoptees.

We organise both national and regional events, where
families can meet to share experiences and get to know each other.
More formally, we run seminars on post-adoption issues, which are
also relevant to pre-adopters.
- AFAA produces a number of
publications, the first
of which - "Inter-Country Adoption" - concentrates on the process
of the adoption. Other titles include:

We produce a regular newsletter for members.

We are active in supporting UK Government departments,
Social Services and Voluntary Agencies in terms of ICA.
